I'm having difficulty finding patterns of finger rings to crochet. I'm sure I could just sit down and try to figure it out. Probably super simple. Mainly those with designs on the top. Thanks.

The current (March April '09) Crochet Today has rings on pg 33. 3 different styles.

You can probably preview them on the Crochet today website

The crochet today website offers one pattern for a ring here is the url:

I've looked around and don't seem to be able to find any other ring patterns. You might want to run out and buy the current issue before their sold out.

I would love to make a ring and am going to try one. Thanks for all the links. Also my daughter is getting married and her ring isn't back from the jewellers yet and she is starting to panic. Her Wedding is this weekend. For a joke I should make one for her. lol

Here is a link to what looks like a great pattern and one beautiful ring. It looks easy to make and I am going to give it a go. The Cocktail ring //www.craftzine-digital.com/craft/vol04/?pg=165&search=Crocheted+cocktail+ring&u1=texterity&cookies=1 if you scroll to the bottom paragraph on this link which is called the boutique ring http://swapatorium.b...a-os-rings.html click on the "pattern" link and itleads you to a similiar pattern which inspired the coctail ring and is a vintage pattern posted on the Groovy site. I tryed posting the direct link but it was broken so have to post it this way. Worth checking out. http://web.*********...y/boutique.html

Hi I just HAD to respond to this thread here. I have been crocheting since age 8. When I was a teen I loved making these rings. I have hunted for years to find a pattern

Thanks for sharing that flickr page!
It looks like some are just a crochet band, like a row of single crochet. Maybe with a stretch elastic or even a stretchy thread. And some are just buttons or cute beads. Or even a wire, crocheted to fit the finger. How easy could that be.

It also looks like some of her rings were from a book or maybe she is the author of it. Crochet Jewelry by Kim and Pulvermakher (There were 2 other books listed under this one on Amazon.com ).

I keep editing because I've thought of crocheting rings, but haven't found some I really like, these ones I do.

Thank you all for the links. Im going to see if my local library has the "Crochet jewlery" book. And I was typing in "rings" in Crochet Pattern Central site. (rolling eyes at myself). Im glad this thread has helped others find ring patterns.
