Hi,
I crochetted this cute bear based on the pattern I found from LionBrand's website. However, the bear is currently missing eyes, nose, and mouth because I am not sure how to make them. The pattern just said "Sew eyes to head. For nose, embroider inverted triangle with satin stitches. Embroider mouth with straight stitches"
How am I supposed to sew the eyes to the head? How do I do embroider? What's a satin stitches? :thinking2

Thanks for any inputs/suggestions :))

If your making it for a small child just stitch back and forth acrossspacing a little to get an eye. If it's for a older child sew buttons on or they even have google eyes you can sew on like buttonsI've alos used pony beads for the eyes.It takes some practice to get noses , eyes & mouths right but whatever you do it gives it character. Believe I still don't think I do a great job with this stuff. I don't use special stitches just back and forth until it looks ok.

You 're going to have to tuck then deep in to the stuffing of the bear with your tapestry needle. You'll get the hang of it. Also you can crochet little circles for eyes or glue on felt for the white a stitch a little black dot in the middle.

I made that teddy... although modified the pattern a bit. Pictures of mine are here:

Basically, to attach the pieces, sew them together, trying to hide your stitches. For the nose, sew long stitches in a triangle/fan shape, until the nose area is filled in.

I put the eyes and nose on before I close up the item.
Hope you get it figured out.
