My daughter got a doll "kit" from target a long time ago. It was one that came with the body shell and you put a pre-stuffed body form into it. Well she stopped playing with it a long time ago. So I decided that I would make the insert into a baby. It will go to the new baby *next year* or I'll add angel wings and keep it for myself as a keepsake if things keep going wrong.

I made the head as you would any normal ami. But kept going with the body after the head. I had to work over and around the stuffed insert. So this gave me an idea for a pattern that I'm in the process of writing up.

UPDATE: This pattern is now available in my etsy shop!

Very sweet doll and easy to make too! I hate sewing a bunch of parts together cause they always end up crooked!
