I have been crocheting Dora Clothes for my 6 year old niece who is visiting with Grandma at the moment.
She arrived Thursday night and I was given the doll first thing on Friday Morning.
I showed her some of Darski's patterns that I had saved - she started to put in her order straight away.
First thing each morning she wanted to Know what Aunty Di had made overnight.

What a slave driver!!

Well, here goes - now that Darski has given me some idea of what to do with photo bucket I am going to try and post the pictures here for everyone to see my version of Darski's patterns.

P.S. Darski - don't think that I will show Tilomai your new outfit - maybe make it up for Santa to bring.

Just tried the first link and it seems to work OK. It is now 1 am in Australia, so I think that I had better sign off and hit the hay. Hope you all like what I have done.

These are sooooo cute! What a wonderful job you've done! I love them all, especially the purple combo!

I've been making some outfits too, but I don't have a doll yet. Darski makes the cutest stuff! :cheer

Thanks

What size is your Dora doll?

The Dora doll is 15 inches but she is an unusual sizing. She has a HUGE head. I had a few mistakes with Hook sizing etc.. being in Australia and with wool ply but the smaller ones fit other dolls that my other nieces have - so it doesn't really matter.

Not Grandma - Aunty.

My Mum is her Grandma and lives right next door to me.

Thanks for the praise.

I don't get that much - having teenage boys they think that I am just plain CRAZY!!

The dressing gown is a little bit big and actually fits the girls Cabbage Patch dolls as well, so they may be fighting over it.

Maybe over the next couple of nights I will try and make a couple of pairs of shoes to go with the outfits- haven't tried yet. But Tilly is insisting that they need some!!!

I am so glad that every one seems to like them. And I learnt something new from Darski with posting the pictures on Photobucket as well!

I really love this woman!! She has made me the most popular Aunty in the World.
She really is a slave driver, considering that she has only been here A WEEK!!
