Hello All,

I just saw a blanket made with something called a sedge stitch. What is it and how do you do it?? It looked really nice, done by the Crochet Dude I think it was....anyone?:think

Look under CAL and it's under the baby afghan CAL. He tells you the pattern on his post farther down.

sc, dc, and dc in the same stitch as the dc you just did. Skip 2 stitches repeat. Picot edge.

Here's a link to a washcloth done with the sedge stitch - I use this pattern a lot to make face cloths with Cotton Tots or Bernat's Organic Cotton as gifts.
