Golf Club Mitts Pattern for Christmas,Now it's Spring

Just thought I'd repost these Golf Mitts again,thought they'd make a
nice gift for the golfer out there






Golf Club Mitts

Pattern by diane gladys

worsted weight yarn ...4.5mm hook
BLO throughout cuff in all mitts

#1&2:
Row1:ch 25 sc in 2nd ch from hk & across ch 1 turn(24)
Rows2-18:sc across ea row ch1 turn.
fold in half&sl st up side to close(do not fasten off)
Rnd1:pick up and(sc 2 in fst st 1sc in next st)cont. around join ch1.
Rnd2-18:sc around join ch1
Rnd19:dec around join ch1
Rnd20:dec around join fasten off leaving a 2-3 ft.tail,weave tail through st and pull tight & fasten,ch 35,leaving remainder of tail for later.

#3&4: BLO throughout cuff.

Row1:ch25 sc in2nd ch & across ch1 turn
Row2-17:sc across ch1 turn...fold in half and sl st side tog(do not fasten off).
Rnd1:pick up and sc(2sc,1sc around join ch1)
Rnd2-17:sc around,join ch1
Rnd18:dec around join ch1 .
Rnd19:dec around,join leaving 2-3 ft.tail,weave through st pull tight,fasten,ch 35 st leaving tail for later.

BLOthroughout for cuffs having one less row also 1less round in mitt before dec rnds.

#5&6: 16rows & rnds
#7&8: 15rows & rnds
#9: 14rows & rnds
Join tails tog an add a pom pom to end using unchained tails for fastening tog
Cut numbers out of felt and glue or sew on back of each mitt
pics and numbers are here,not sure how the numbers will come out they came out a little bigger than I expected but not much

I fixed the link to the #s,but I would still use the link of the #s that "hooked2"gave you,they come out at a better size if you use the small ones

Great club mitts! Dh was asking me to make him some a couple of months ago too. I'm glad I haven't gotten around to it because these look terrific! Thanks a bunch for the free pattern :clap

Very, very nice!! My hubby loves golf and these would make a great "because I love you" present! Thanks for sharing the pattern!

Photobucket just told me that it could not find the page with the numbers, BUT I found a site with templates for letters and numbers - in different sizes! So, just in case one of my fellow 'Villers needs it, here's the link.

the num. are perfectI was looking for somthing like them but to couldn't find any :ty :ty :hug so i tryed to make my own ,and I had quite a time getting them right and posting them.
