Crochet thread dress

Hi

Does anyone know where I can find a dress that is made from crochet thread instead of yarn? I live in Barbados and it is quite hot so yarn would not be suitable. I am looking for a size 8 dress.

There are some thread tops on these sites but maybe you can adapt them to turn them into dresses.....

The current issue of Crochet Today! has a pretty thread pattern that can be worked as a top or continue on for a dress.

Drops Design has a few, it's in british terms, but shouldn't be too hard to figure out, I have a purse as a wip from there and it was pretty easy.

I made this dress for my daughter's baptism, its really beautiful. I'm sure you could adapt it for your needs if you wanted to.

Baje maybe you could tell us if you're looking for a woman's size 8 or a little girl's size 8.
Seems some members are posting one and other members are posting the other.
I'm guessing woman's. ;)

Smart Crochet has a lovely pattern for sale. It comes in a medium size. If that is not your size, perhaps you can adjust it to your size.

I also saw the one in Crochet Today and thought it was a great pattern - the one that can be just a top or a dress as long as you want it.
