I have heard great things about the blue willow afghan. It sounds so interesting that I want to make it, sight unseen. Does anyone have a pic of what it looks like and where I would be able to find the pattern for it?

Hi joyquest and welcome to Crochetville!! The only info I could find for this was an e-bay item....it is an afghan that goes with the Blue Willow China pattern. Here is a photo of it, but unfortunately it is in a plastic bag so it is not very good, but atleast you can get some idea about it!

try searching the crafts section of E-bay for Blue Willow and you will find other items, I tried adding the link here but for some reason I can't....hope you find something you like!

Ladycrochet: Thanks for the welcome. This seems like a great community!

Mermaiden: I can't see the pic but I'll keep looking. Thanks for the effort and search.

Needlesandpinza: Yes, it is a popular pattern. Bright and elegant.

Joyquest, I have a pattern for a blue willow afghan. It is in Coats & Clark's Book No. 177. There was an auction on ebay for the book recently, but it has ended. Take a look at the photo and tell me if that is what you are looking for. If so, PM me and we can talk about a trade, if you like.

No picture, but this site http://grannysbookbo...com/crafts.html has a book for sale with the pattern, it is the 4th one down on the page.
I'm Kathy-crochet on Ravelry.
It's official--I cannot type the word "stitch", it always comes out "sttich".

Here is the ebay page with a number of afghans 177 with the tartan plaid cover that has blue willow in it Look at the one that says 1960's retro. It has the inside photos:
