I already made a mermaid (she is about 6 inches tall) and would like to attach her to a seahorse or a rock, but all I can find is filet seahorse or cross stitch onto filet crochet seahorse. I need a crochet pattern of a seahorse or rock that is stuffed when finished, that I can attach the mermaid I made to it so it looks like she is sitting on it. I'd prefer a free pattern since I'll probably never make another seahorse, but I'll take any ideas.

Thanks

Scroll down and you'll see a seahorse. Maybe you could make two of them and whipstitch them together.

Here's a link to many sea creatures, including seahorses. They aren't stuffed, but like another member said, you could make two and sew them together. If the patterns aren't big enough use yarn & a bigger hook. The patterns aren't free but not badly priced. Crochet Designs

Thank You for that link. I think I'm going to use just the top half of the tiolet tissue cover and stuff it when finished.

HI! I have a very cute seahorse coming. She's almost done. She's about
5 inches with her tail curled. All I have left are her ears and fins. I think
you'll like her, altho I may not have read, how big your mermaid was.
Anyhow.... it'll be coming soon... has a mane and is wired for posing
and I think I'm gonna make it so that it hangs. I'll holler when she's ready!
(okay - your mermaid is 6" - this little lady can be made with a bigger hook
and yarn and she'd probably be just right... she's made from baby and
eyelash yarns!) Peggy

I have Annie's Attic Seahorse pattern and it is a bit difficult... not for the
beginner, I think. Maybe I'm just an idiot, I don't know, but those SEA
patterns are wonderful anyhow...one of these I'm gonna make them all up!!!
Yeah.... one of these days!!!!:think
