would anyone have the corrections of the free pattern mountain mist afghan, it is on allcraft site and benant site but many who have crochted for years believe the pattern is wrong it is very pretty and would love to try  http://www.allfreecr...han-from-Bernat

I made that with Waverly yarn and Bernat pattern.  It worked up beautiful and I didn't find any mistakes in it.

I have tried and can not get the zig zag effect my first row edge is straight, I am not new to crochet but have never done a ripple, whywould my edge be straight

I've not done that specific pattern, but for ripples it takes several rows before the ripple really develops.  Keep at it :)  It's a really pretty pattern.

I think it is basically the same, from what I can see in the tiny photo in your link. I hate patterns like that....how would I even know if I want to make it, if I can't SEE it?
