Is SC over a chain space the same as SC in a chain space? For example the instructions read "5 sc over next ch-5 sp". So should I sc in the ch-5 sp 5 times? If not, what should I do? I'm confused because the pattern has always say to sc in a chain space.

Thanks

Yes, sc in the space five times.

'sc in the ch sp' means that you would crochet around the chain itself.
