I am having difficulty with Mandarin Top(Tatyana Mirer)

instructions say leave 1 stitch on hook

make treble crochet skip 2 spaces then treble crochet.

 

how many loops r there suppose to be on hook for pull thru?

For any 2- stitch decrease, there should be 3 loops on the hook for the last pull-thru:  1 is always on the hook, 1 for the first treble, 1 for the second treble.

 

For the other pull-thrus, use 2 loops as usual.
