When I took class at adult ed several years ago teacher had us do a shawl and the pattern was just type written on a piece of paper so not sure if it was her pattern or what but I have misplaced mine and I know there has to be something similar out there.
It is a fringed triangular shawl done with 2 strands of worsted weight but you start at the widest point and work in each row until you get down to one stitch so you don't start this one at the point. I think it was SC with ch 3's and you work in the spaces of each row. Then you fringe it after so it hangs nicely. I have done a ton of these for prayer shawls since they work up quick. Mary
