Made this for my cousin for her baby boy. It's a little late... But I think she'll forgive me given my life lately. :)

Thanks so much neighbor! I've put ribbon on granny blankets before.... It does dress it up just enough .... Doesn't it?!

Love it! My stepsister is expecting twins in April, I think I'm going to make 2 granny blanket's for them w/ ribbon. The ribbon is such a nice touch! It really makes the humble granny even cuter. :)

If you don't mind me asking... what size ribbon did you use? A friend and I tried to add ribbon to a granny square she just finished and the ribbon got all bunched up and would not lay nearly as pretty as yours. I have an abundance of 1" ribbon and thought I could use it for these quick little blankets, but am now discouraged.
