I was searching on ravelry for patterns with a G hook and I found this pattern so I decided to try it out. 

 

Super simple - very quick and what another great way to burn through yarn!! 

 

I am going to get some information from my local hospital/health departments to see if they accept donations for hats - This would be perfect!!

 

The all brown one is done with just a slip stitch border where as the brown/blue is done with a single crochet chain 1 border all around. The camo is done with a reverse single crochet border, and the purple is done with 3 single crochet's in every other stitch, while I skipped a stitch in between the 3sc!

You did a great job. I make and donate to the local hospital baby unit.  My neice is a delievery nurse and gives out the hats I make.  She says they are always pleased to recieve them...good job!

I called our local hospital and they told me to make them for anywhere from 5 lb babies to 9 lb babies.. I am going to get in contact with a hospital further away that has a NICU unit to see if they'll accept them.
