Maybe we should keep this thread going, he he, a place to record all your wonderful finds and scores eh!! Haven't been looking lately, since the last score, and yeah, two strands make it just almost like 4 ply, so won't go to waste!
And I love that color on sale idea at goodwill, i hope ours does it too!

I posted this in the P&C vs S&C post but I figured it was a great deal so I would post a little blurb here.

Hobby Lobby carries S&C cotton in a value 3 ball pack for originally 27 dollars for 38 oz which is quite a bit of cotton. With the 40% off coupon or was only 18. It also comes with a free book which the last one was all childrens clothing so I had no use for that. But as far as cotton and deals goes I was pretry excited! So keep an eye out at HL the value pack! I've only been able to find them there and no where else!

I hightailed it up the aisle, bumping and shoving, pushing and screaming, running over toes with my cart, (im just kidding, the aisle was empty, however, no guarantees I wouldn't have done this to get to it!!) and low and behold, a bunch of skeins of baby yarn...

:rofl :rofl :lol :wink I burst out laughing when this picture went through my head...
:hug what a great find.
My score wasn't even made by me...A few weeks ago H's coffee buddy called to say he passed a yard sale that had a bunch of yarn in plastic bags and did I want it for 20 dollars. I said sure and then sweated out whether it was worth it. Nearly fell over when he brought it to me. Close to 200.00 worth of yarn in a big tub that was overflowing (the lid couldn't be closed). A very small amount was scraps, but most was full skeins.
They were in plastic bags and clean. I was :c9

Little off topic but still a score! Ordered two delux sonic burgers today, and they quoted me over the intercom twice the price it should have been, so on my turn at the pay here window, I questioned the gal, and she called over the manager, blah blah blah, anyway to make a long story shorter, was their fault and they gave them to me free, for the trouble, now that was a score, right! LOL
