I am closing in on finishing the groovyghan I have been working on, and I decided that it needed two more things, one of them being flowers on the stripe strip.

I think this Zinnia from Lesley Stanfield's 100 Flowers to Knit & Crochet should fit the bill.

My execution needs a little work, but I think it should fit right in with everything else going on in this piece. You can read about the continuing adventure/saga here.
