Pattern Uploads: Terms of Service

If you choose to upload a pattern to Crochetville, whether for sale or for free, (1) you grant Crochetville a non-exclusive, revocable license to list the pattern and associated information (including descriptive text, photographs in full-size through thumbnail size) on the Crochetville website [www.crochetville.com], (2) you grant Crochetville a non-exclusive, revocable license to advertise the pattern and associated information (including descriptive text, photographs in full-size through thumbnail size) on any part of Crochetville's internet presence (websites hosted on our server(s), our Facebook page, Pinterest and Twitter accounts, and email newsletter) and (3) you represent and warrant that you hold the copyright and other necessary intellectual property rights in any and all pattern(s) you list and advertise on Crochetville. You have the right to remove any pattern that you have listed at any time, and, by so doing, you shall revoke the license to Crochetville to display information publicly from that point forward, understanding Crochetville retains the irrevocable right to keep an archive copy of the pattern so that customers who previously purchased the pattern may continue to download it through their account. Additionally, Crochetville will not use any pattern or its associated information without the express written permission of the designer or owner of the pattern, other than to list, advertise, and publicize the pattern in connection with Crochetville services.
You are solely and completely responsible for any patterns posted by you on Crochetville, including, without limitation, for any errors or omissions in any pattern(s), any intellectual property infringement, and/or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred by a third party as a result of the use of any pattern(s) posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available via Crochetville. You agree to be responsible for full payment of any legal fees incurred by Crochetville in regards to any patterns you upload to our system.
You agree that, if your pattern references the trademark of a third party in any way, you will only upload such a pattern if you have a licensing agreement or other permission from the trademark owner to make commercial use of their intellectual property. You also agree to post a disclaimer in your pattern listing that licensing or other permission is in place. You understand that if you post a pattern without such a disclaimer that Crochetville may contact the trademark owner and verify that licensing/permission is in place. You understand that if no such permission exists, Crochetville will provide the trademark owner with your email address or other contact information upon request.
You are solely responsible for protecting and enforcing any intellectual property and other rights in your pattern(s); Crochetville shall have no obligation to do so on your behalf.
Crochetville members are expected to follow copyright law and not distribute your pattern(s) without permission. If any Crochetville member is found to distribute a pattern they have purchased or downloaded here without permission, we reserve the right to limit their ability to access our pattern section and ban them from Crochetville entirely.
Customers purchase patterns from Crochetville. As such, any responsibility for collecting and remitting VAT for sales of digital services (PDF files) to customers in the EU will lie with Crochetville.
You agree that the buyer may use the pattern in compliance with terms of US copyright law.
In the event a buyer is successful in seeking a refund through Paypal,the fee we paid you for that pattern will be deducted from the next payment due from Crochetville to the seller.
You understand that a purchaser of a downloadable .pdf file of your pattern may store the file on Crochetville's servers and the purchaser will have the right to access such pattern on Crochetville until they cease being a member of Crochetville.
Crochetville shall have the right, but not the obligation, to remove any pattern that violates any law, regulation or guideline or that we deem offensive or otherwise inappropriate for our community, in our sole discretion.
